Adolescents are rarely able to recognize the impact that addiction has on their lives. In order to effectively reach them, we utilize an adolescent-specific treatment philosophy. It focuses on the many issues that may trigger substance use, such as anxiety, depression, frustration and boredom. The program utilizes a combination of proven treatment models, including:

We also utilize motivational interviewing as a primary assessment and counseling technique in therapy.

The Philadelphia outpatient program is available to any adolescent who meets the criteria for a medical necessity for treatment. The assessed need will determine whether each client participates in intensive outpatient or outpatient therapy. Following acceptance into the program, a clinical Individualized Treatment Plan will be created by our Therapists.
