New Outlook Academy: Industrial Trades Training

When young women receive hands-on industrial trade training, they begin to take their future into their own hands.

New Outlook Academy offers industrial arts courses to equip students with basic trade skills, a positive work ethic and a new path to self-sufficiency and independence.

Giving Back to the Community

All New Outlook students are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of community service. In many cases, their Industrial Trades Training sparks an opportunity for them to put their skills to work for the greater good, both on and off campus.

Work Programs & Restitution

New Outlook Academy offers several on-campus student work programs in areas such as food service, custodial maintenance, landscaping and structural repair. Industrial Trades training often gives them the skills to make an outstanding contribution to life at New Outlook Academy. They may also use their newfound skills to earn money for court-ordered restitution.
