Summit Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Program

Summit Academy Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Program

A Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program Like No Other

Exceptional Qualifications, Sobering Success

Juveniles placed at The Summit Academy often come through our doors dependent on drugs and alcohol. In fact, “82% of students in a State detention facility were reported to be heavy, daily users of alcohol and other drugs just prior to admission.”*

Incorporating in-patient treatment in our rigorous and nurturing prep-school environment is at the heart of our approach and success. We effectively integrate intensive educational programming, evidence-based counseling and social-skill development to place our students on the road to recovery.

Summit Academy’s multi-dimensional, eclectic approach is intentionally designed to meet the individual needs of each student. Led by our Program Director, Certified Clinical Supervisors and Drug & Alcohol Clinicians, our students engage in both individual and group therapy to set them on the path to sobriety that's best for them. We use a combination of proven treatment models, include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Reality-Based Treatment
  • Chronic Disease Model
  • Rational Emotional Therapy
  • 12-Step Approach

The Summit Academy’s state-licensed, inpatient,non-hospital program is led by:
