It’s been an exciting start to the season for the Summit Academy Knights Football Team! From hard work on the field to teamwork, determination, and plenty of Knight pride, our players have been giving it their all each week.

Let’s pack the stands and cheer on Summit Academy! Go Knights!
Being part of the Summit Academy golf team is about so much more than what happens on the course. It’s an opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, make friendships, and be part of a team that encourages and supports one another.
For our students, being on the golf team creates experiences and memories that go far beyond the final score.
Hear directly from some of our student-athletes as they share what makes being a member of the Summit Academy golf team so rewarding!
We’re proud of our Knights on and off the course!

At Summit Academy, students have the opportunity to explore career pathways through hands-on training, including our 12-week Fiber Optics Program!
This program introduces students to the telecommunications field and provides training in fiber optics installation, technology, and the skills needed for today’s growing telecommunications industry.
It’s another great example of how Summit Academy helps students develop practical skills, explore career opportunities, and prepare for their future beyond the classroom

Get ready for a new mystery!
Starting Wednesday, September 9, our Book Club will meet every Wednesday to read and discuss A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro.
This witty and suspenseful story introduces a modern-day crime-solving duo—the teen descendants of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson!
When Jamie Watson and Charlotte Holmes find themselves at the same boarding school, a suspicious death brings them together—and they soon discover that danger is closer than they ever imagined.
Read. Discuss. Solve the mystery.
We can’t wait to see where this story takes us!
Our Summit Academy students recently participated in their third Cancer Awareness & Prevention Class of the Spring 2026 series with Joe Kerley from the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
Students learned how small lifestyle changes—such as reducing added sugar and choosing healthier foods and drinks—can help reduce their risk of cancer. They put their knowledge to the test by comparing foods, ranking drinks by added sugar, and identifying healthier snack choices.
The class ended with a hands-on activity as students worked together to make no-bake healthy snacks using nut butter, seeds, oats, chocolate, and coconut flakes. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and enthusiasm along the way!
Our students were engaged, asked great questions, and enjoyed learning that healthy choices can also be fun—and delicious!
A special thank-you to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for continuing to provide our students with valuable knowledge and practical tools for healthier lives
