GROWING LOCAL
Staff and students at New Outlook worked together to grow an abundance of fresh vegetables in the annual garden.
Our young ladies have been extremely proud to share cucumbers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and several types of peppers with our staff and community residents.
Everyone was appreciative of the delicious homegrown veggies for summer meals.
Pictured below are Sabrina M. (Allegheny Co.), and Ariana L. ( Berks Co.) with the New Outlook Academy some of the fresh-picked items.
Celebrating summertime and the beautiful weather, the young ladies of New Outlook Academy enjoyed several outdoor recreational activities available on campus. Kite flying, corn hole, volleyball and refreshing water ice were among the favorites.
SUMMERTIME AT ROUND HILL PARK Our young ladies recently enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of fun and recreation at Round Hill Park. The 1,100-acre park features a working exhibition farm, a scenic lake and plenty of walking trails. They also enjoyed a trip to the Dairy Queen for cool, sweet treats at the end of the day!

AWESOME ALUMNI ALERT
We are incredibly proud of Summit Academy alumni Zach Loomis. He recently shared that he has been working with a successful landscape company and assisting with a lawn care crew.
The pictures speak for themselves as he and his team clearly do great work.
Congrats Zach – we wish you continued success in your career and in all you do!!!

FOOTBALL SEASON IS UPON US
After missing the 2020 football season due to the pandemic, the Summit Knights are nearly ready to kick off the 2021 season.
After weeks of conditioning and practice, Summit opened the season with a scrimmage against Riverside on August 21st. Many of our first-time players took this opportunity to practice new skills and plays against a live opponent.
The team is now preparing for their season opener against Avonworth on Friday, August 27th at 7:00pm.
Let’s go Knights!
