“Most of our students can’t imagine an opportunity for a better life than the one they were living before they arrive at our school. But every day that we come to work, we make a difference. We teach them to breathe easier, to relax and to be happy about the fact that someone is there for them and cares about them. To see a student change because you have helped them feel more secure and overcome the trauma that they have endured is an incredible experience. What we do every day matters to the outcome of our students’ lives and that is why I do this job.”
