The Summit Academy golf team had a chance to "give back" to the "All About Golf" facility. The golf team utilizes the facility at times during the season, and All about Golf has been very accommodating whenever the team visits! When the opportunity to give back was available, the students were excited! Our young men built a new fence and relocated sod from one area of the golf course to make new tee boxes! The boys did a great job and we thank All About Golf for supporting the Summit Academy Knights Golf Team!!!
The Summit Academy golf season is well underway and while our boys are still looking for their first win, strides are being made on the links as the boys shave strokes off their game. Good luck men in your next match!!! #uKnighted

The first course is General Psychology which offers an introduction to the basic concepts and methodology of psychology and to the scientific study of behavior.
The second course, The World in 20th Century, examines the major issues of the twentieth century such as the causes and consequences of World Wars, the impact of western imperialism on the emergence of Third World nations states, and the Cold War.
12 students passed their Psychology class and 9 students passed 20th Century History. Congratulations to all of the students who took one more step toward earning their college degree.
Wishing congratulations to our GED graduates who recently participated in the Butler County Community College Commencement Ceremony. Arthur Stewart, Summit Academy GED and College within the High School Teacher, had the honor of addressing the graduates. In his remarks, Art shared, “Graduation is like climbing a set of stairs…how many steps are you willing to climb? This is the beginning for many of you. Whether you attend college, trade school, the military or a career, you can now move forward. You have shown great drive, determination and heart! You have achieved your goal. The sky is the limit, and many adventures await. The higher you climb the brighter you will shine. You should never accept failure and you should always strive to do your best." Also addressing his fellow students was Summit graduate, Christopher W. We are so excited for what these bright students will accomplish next! CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK!!
