What better way to pass a winter day than at the local skating rink… wondering if he made it under the low bar??!!
Summit Academy once again volunteered at the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches (AVAC) annual Christmas Food Bank. Our young men helped transport items, set up displays, and carry customers’ packages to their vehicles.
During the season of receiving, it is wonderful for our kids to give their time and talents to brighten the holidays for others.
Thank you, AVAC, for providing this wonderful opportunity!
Advocacy, equality and opportunity… because mental health is a universal human right!
Keystone Wellness Programs has been offering an addiction program for a group of young men at Summit Academy this semester. The partnership began with an education session on tobacco, vapes and nicotine products, which transitioned into a tobacco cessation program. The final segment will focus on gambling addiction education and awareness.
Instructors have complimented the students’ interest and participation, recognizing how invested these young men are in their journey toward living a healthy lifestyle.
