The Summit Academy Knights pulled out a huge section win last night. Four of our five starters scored in double digits, including Allen G. leading the way with 25 points, Elijah A. close behind with 23 points and Ki’Ron D and Tayvone B. adding 16 and 13, respectively. The Knights went 7-10 from the free throw line in the final quarter to secure the 89-83 win. The opponents leading scorer led all for the night with an amazing 57-point performance.
The playoffs race is heating up with just two weeks left in the regular season.
Good luck boys… finish #UKnighted and strong!
Summit Academy once again partnered with the Foster Love Project. This annual community service opportunity allows Summit students to donate their time and talents to efforts that make the harsh realities of emergency foster care a little more loving. The students coordinate donated items which are then packed into care bags for young kids who often come into foster care without any personal possessions. The bags include clothes, pajamas, toiletries, books and toys.
Thank you to the Foster Love Project for allowing us to be a part of their amazing work!!
Leading the Knights was Elijah D. with 24 points, including four 3’s. Also in double digits for Summit were Tayvone B. with 18 and Allen G. with 10.
Congrats boys and good luck in the second half of section play!!!

K. Douglas was the hero last night when he converted a last-second free throw to secure the 66-65 section win for the Knights. But the victory was definitely a team effort, with Allen G. leading the Knights with 29 points, followed by Tayvonne D. and Elijah A. who both added 11.
The Knights improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in their section.
