New Outlook Academy offers career and technical training to equip students with basic employability skills, a positive work ethic and a new path to self-sufficiency and independence. In addition to exposure to and training in several different career programs, New Outlook students can also earn several different employability certifications. New Outlook Academy is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Academic/Career & Technical Training Alliance (PACTT).

Giving Back to the Community
New Outlook students are also provided the opportunity to complete community service projects throughout their stay. The objective of this program is to not only help students fulfill court obligations but also teach them the value and intrinsic satisfaction that results from volunteerism.

Work Programs & Restitution
New Outlook Academy offers an on-campus student stipend program. This program allows our young ladies to utilize many of the skills they are acquiring within the program to earn a stipend to satisfy court-ordered restitution obligations or court fees or earn funds to use for their education or independent living upon discharge.
