Students rolled up their sleeves, threw on some gloves, and went to work laying out weed barriers and planting on the grounds at Summit Academy. Book Club had an exciting visitor at their movie showing last week! For many students, it was their first time meeting a dino in the flesh and watching the original Jurassic Park movie. New adventures await with the Club’s next book
VISITING FARAWAY DESTINATIONS RIGHT IN OUR CLASSROOMS
8th grade students in Mr. Aquadro’s class utilized virtual reality to visit Brazil last week. They toured the city of Sao Paulo, the Amazon River and the Rainforest… they also got up close and personal with a poisonous dart frog… thank goodness that was only a VR experience!!! #travelingtheworldwithtechnology
