Come out and join us to celebrate our Senior football players when they take on Shenango at home tomorrow!

Good Luck Summit!

Our HR Manager, Rochelle Coleman, spent a fun-filled afternoon with students creating homemade caramel apples from scratch — cooking the caramel sauce, dipping, topping, and packaging each delicious treat. These tasty creations were shared with everyone at our Fall Fest celebration!
A huge thank you to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Penn State for their support through the PA Harvest of the Month grant, which helped make this hands-on (and mouth-watering!) experience possible.

The ladies of New Outlook hit it out of the park when the Pittsburgh Pirates came to campus to “take over” gym class for an epic Wiffle Ball Tournament.
The day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition, making memories to last a lifetime!

After a season of hard work and a bountiful harvest, fall has brought us to our final picking. But nothing extends summer a little longer than a sweet, juicy watermelon!
Well done, ladies — your dedication made it possible for staff, students, and our community to enjoy the true “fruits” of your labor all summer long.

The Knights are heading to New Castle tonight to take on the Laurel Spartans!

Summit offers several supplemental programs designed to support the tremendous work our young men are doing in their clinical treatment.
THE BLUES PROGRAM is an evidence-based depression prevention and resiliency development program designed to:
1. Encourage healthy coping & problem-solving strategies
2. Build social support networks
3. Reduce risk factors for depression & other mental health challenges.
One student in the group expressed his belief that depression was incurable. Through his participation in The Blues Program, he has developed coping skills that allow him to alter his thoughts and moods when he is feeling down. Another student echoed that sentiment when he shared that the group has taught him that life is continuously changing and through resiliency, he can elevate himself out of low feelings.
Thank you, Keystone Wellness Programs. We are stronger together for our young men!
Words cannot adequately describe the stunning show and its profound impact on our students. We’re grateful to the Zambelli Fireworks team, the food trucks, local fire and police, and the community members who joined us on Friday to help celebrate our 2025 JCJC Program of the Year award and all the important work we do for our students. We’re all grateful and strengthened by our community and partners.

Our students had an incredible opportunity to step into history during their visit to the Carrie Blast Furnace! Thanks to Rivers of Steel for providing this free tour, our students experienced Pittsburgh’s industrial past up close and gained a deeper appreciation for the region’s culture and heritage.
We’re so grateful for community partners like Rivers of Steel who open doors to learning beyond the classroom. ![]()
