With help from Beverly’s PGH, the day was filled with fun, laughter, and excitement from start to finish. Our students had an amazing time designing their cotton candy creations and confidently walking the runway to show them off.
From bold designs to big smiles, the room was full of energy and creativity. It’s always a joy to see our students express themselves in such unique and uplifting ways.
A huge thank you to Beverly’s PGH for bringing such a special experience to our students each month—we truly look forward to it every time! ![]()
New Outlook Academy is looking forward to another fun day at the ballpark with Tickets for Kids! On April 8th, students will enjoy an exciting all-in experience as the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the San Diego Padres. Thank you to everyone who helps make this special day possible for our girls—we truly appreciate your support in creating such memorable opportunities each year!

The Summit Academy Knights took the field against the Rochester Rams and, while the final score didn’t fall in our favor, there’s so much to be proud of.
This group continues to grow—not just as players, but as teammates. With every inning, you can see the communication, the effort, and the commitment to one another getting stronger.
Wins will come, but what’s being built right now is something even more important—a true team. Keep working, keep believing, and keep showing what it means to be a Knight.

Through the Young Writers program, students were invited to explore the world of crime and mystery by responding to the creative writing prompt “Unsolved.” Each student crafted a “mini saga” — a complete story told in just 100 words — challenging them to think critically, write creatively, and captivate their audience in a limited space.
From choosing unique perspectives like suspects, witnesses, or forensic scientists, to deciding whether to solve the mystery or leave readers on the edge of their seats, our students truly embraced the art of storytelling.
We are excited to announce that four Summit Academy students have been selected for publication in Unsolved: Deceptive Tales, scheduled for release on April 25, 2026! ![]()
Congratulations to Corbin M., Evan B., Justin I., and Zayvious H. on this incredible accomplishment. Your hard work, imagination, and dedication have earned you a place as published authors — we couldn’t be more proud!

The Summit Academy mindfulness class took learning outdoors, taking full advantage of the beautiful 71-degree weather!
Students gathered in a peaceful green space across from the school, where they practiced deep breathing, yoga “tree pose,” and mindful walking. They explored nature by noticing patterns in trees, moss, and leaves—fully engaging with their surroundings.
The experience brought a noticeable boost in mood, with students sharing that they felt refreshed, calm, and more focused. Even better, they were able to reflect on the mindfulness skills they can continue using in their daily lives.
A great reminder of the power of nature, movement, and simply being present.
