Students spent time in the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. The Museum Lab was chock-full of innovative ways to create with recycled materials from everyday items. Aside from creating, the students really enjoyed the dreidel-like seats. #art

Big thanks to Carnegie Science Center, whose FedEx Grant provided 13 students with an interactive trip through time and space! Our students had a blast learning about mental health through the Mental Health Mind Matters exhibit, Pittsburgh history through the Miniature Railroad & Village, and outer space through the SpacePlace exhibit. The visit truly brought learning to life for our students.

Four Summit students passed their Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA) industry certification exam. This achievement demonstrates their knowledge and skills with all machines found in a professional woodworking shop, making them exceptional candidates for future employment.
