The Teddy Bear Project Charity’s donation couldn’t have come at a better time for New Outlook’s Wicked movie showing and party. Carefully packed in the donation of stuffies were the scarecrow, cowardly lion, tin man, and wizard. Students that were able to guess the number of balloons throughout campus were awarded the stuffed friends as prizes! The Wicked party also included Glenda’s Pop-ular Popcorn Bar, Defying Gravity room complete with flying monkeys, flowerpot decorating in Emerald City, Pin the Tail on the Monkey and other fun, themed activities. A big thank you to The Teddy Bear Project Charity and postal worker, Sean, who donated the cost of shipping to get the stuffed friends to us. Your work helped to bring smiles to our students’ faces ![]()

The New Outlook Book Club has completed another wonderful selection. This time, they read Neil Gaiman’s Stardust.
This wonderful fantasy fiction is set in the 1800s in England, where two very different worlds collide only every nine years. Hopefully, the girls enjoyed this escape from reality and the lessons learned about the true state of happiness.

The unseasonably warm weather allowed Summit students in Ms. Petras’ science class to perform their recent experiments outside and watch their creations bubble over in the bright sunshine.
Looking forward to this becoming a regular occurrence as the days get longer and the temps get hotter.

New Outlook students recently visited SLB Radio, where they toured the studio and learned about interviewing, recording, and audio production. Thank you, The Saturday Light Brigade, for hosting our students and providing an educational, enriching experience in radio production!
They had a great time!

What a beautiful way to start the day.
Rise and shine, Knights!
